Can the Suicide of the Western World Be Stopped?

Nightmares

Last year a young Ukrainian refugee, aged 27, came to us. She told us of her fiancé whose job had been drone-making. One day one of them exploded in his hands. All that remained of the young man’s body was a pair of legs. Last week another Ukrainian from the west of the Ukraine came to us and told us how in his city there is a curfew from 9.00 pm till 6.00 am every night, when trains arrive with the corpses of thousands of dead soldiers to be buried by night.

The old cemeteries are full and the new ones too. Such is the nightmare in the Ukraine, now being repeated in Gaza, the West Bank, the Lebanon, Iran and Israel. It is a nightmare of injustices and death. The last 112 years have been dominated by injustices, starting with those that occurred during and after the two World Wars. The Western elites caused them; all peoples suffered from them. The time has come for retribution and the correction of injustices.

Prophecies and the Decline of the Western World

We have entered the times of Biblical prophecies, when armies are massing in Biblical lands, and the times of the prophecies of Orthodox elders. However, all prophecies are conditional on repentance. So far we have seen no signs of repentance on the part of those who have begun their wars of choice against both Russia and Iran. In the wings is China, which has had its own difficulties with the West and may have been mentioned as ‘Sinim’ in the Book of Isaiah.

Extremists refer to Babylon and Armageddon, the prophecies of the Prophet Daniel, prophecies from the only Prophetic book in the New Testament, the Book of Revelation (the Apocalypse), and prophecies made by recent saints regarding what is now Turkey. We should be careful. There are those who through ignorance or through malevolence misinterpret such prophecies. All are conditional, all should be read through the prism of Church life.

The USA has much accelerated its own decline, decadence, bankruptcy and death through its many futile and unprovoked wars of death and destruction, for example, against Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, but above all more recently against Russia, Yemen and Iran. Its vassals, the Ukraine, Western Europe and the Gulf emirates and sheikhdoms, are committing suicide together with it. It is always better not to ally yourself with a suicide.

Japan, South Korea and Taiwan are just beginning to understand this and may yet save themselves, like rats trying to flee the sinking US ship. On the other hand, the feudal and anti-patriotic Globalist Western European elite still plans to turn the welfare States that it inherited into warfare States, just like their beloved Nazis. Only if that elite is changed, by election or by popular revolt, even at this eleventh hour, is there still any lingering hope of salvation.

We have seen that ‘Democracies’ are plutocracies and oligarchies, which are fundamentally feudal and have strong Fascist tendencies. And we have seen that ‘Autocracies’ are the still sovereign countries with people who patriotically resist Western Globalist oligarchy, colonisation and exploitation and retain their national identity. This is why throughout the twentieth century the Democracies set about destroying the remaining Autocracies, as in 1917.

Narcissism

Those who did not know the American bishop have learned that malignant narcissists like Trump do have superficial charm, but suffer from pompous and fantasist self-importance, with greed for money and power, stimulation, lies, manipulation. They also suffer from the inability to feel remorse and guilt and the pathological need to blame others for everything in self-justification. When they have lost, as they always do, they always walk away, declaring victory.

They disdain empathy, honesty, compassion and self-sacrifice, all the values of Christ, Whom they only pretend to confess. That is why they turn the Persecuted Church into the Persecuting Church, and are so aggressive, anti-missionary, anti-woman and anti-family, and may be sexually disturbed, like Hegseth, Graham or Bessent in Trump’s USA. Their Creed is: ‘Me, me, me’. And that is why they have no room in their lives for any others and destroy everything.

 

 

 

 

Freedom in the Air

The refusal of the British Establishment with its unrepresentative Parliament, the Metropolitan elite, including the Labour Party which obtusely ignored the voice of its electorate and so paid the price, and the BBC State propaganda mouthpiece, to continue not to implement the will of the people is over. For the UK election results make Brexit inevitable. And that makes the eventual collapse of EU tyranny inevitable. That makes those of us who have always fought against that tyranny ever since Conservative treachery forced us into the historic deviation of joining the then Common Market in 1973 happy. Who will be next to quit the failed EU? Hungary? Ireland? Slovakia? Denmark? Sweden? Freedom is in the air.

However, the results also show that not only is the collapse of the European Union inevitable, but also that of the British Union, forced by Establishment-organized violence, bribery and corruption on England in 1066, on Wales in 1282, on Scotland in 1707 and on Ireland in 1800. England is perhaps at last on its way to recovering its independence from the Norman-imposed London ‘British’ elite, Wales may follow, Scotland’s independence must be restored – however without aggressiveness towards the victim of England, and Northern Ireland, artificially cut off from the rest of Ireland for almost a century, will certainly be reunited with the South. From that point on the Four Countries will have to work out arrangements for a new, Non-Unionist, Confederation of the Isles.

As to whether the new government can find the correct path out of the EU and at that same time create social justice, investing in the almost Third World UK infrastructure of the drastically underfunded Health, Education, Police and Prison services, restoring the at present pathetic road and rail networks and creating a modern broadband network, and at long last bring the Wild West privatized utilities under government regulation for the benefit of the long-suffering public, remains to be seen.

May the Lord have mercy on us all.

The Modern Nightmare

Countries and societies are governed by two principles. They are represented by the political tendencies of what in modern times are known as Left and Right. One principle, espoused especially by the Left, is Social Justice, as seen in the provision of free public health and education systems, good public infrastructure, roads and pavements, and public transport (rail and bus). The other principle, espoused especially by the Right, is what is called Social Conservatism, which is a phrase meaning personal, family, social and national moral responsibility.

When political parties promote only Social Justice, they end up making people dependent on the State and personally irresponsible, as people think only of their rights, but not of their duties. Destroying individual initiative and enterprise, people start leading short-sighted and amoral lives for short-term pleasure and become self-destructive, even suicidal.

When political parties promote only Social Conservatism, they end up making people selfish and narcissistic, as people think only of their own individualistic interests and idolizing money. Destroying the sense of society and personal, family, social and national responsibility, people start leading short-sighted and amoral lives and become self-destructive, even suicidal.

The nightmare is that of today’s Secularist Western societies, where there is poor Social Justice, as seen in lack of free health and education systems, Third World public infrastructure, roads and pavements, and lack of public transport. This creates a large underclass, fatal for social stability and social cohesion. And at the same time there is little Social Conservatism, as it has been replaced by the illusion called ‘freedom’, which means the destruction of personal responsibility and of the collective values of family life and patriotism, leading to social irresponsibility, bordering on depravity and sexual perversion, such that the most detestable evils of prostitution (‘sex work’) and pedophilia have become commonplace as they are not only permitted but, indirectly, promoted. This is suicide.

Social Injustice and Social Depravity are coming to reign in such societies and are promoted globally and imperialistically by military, economic and social forces as part of the West’s ‘New World Order’. Here is the nightmare of modern Westernized life with its intense injustices and personal, family, social and national irresponsibility. All this is the opposite of Orthodox Christian society, which contrary to Western Secularist values, promotes both Social Justice and Social Conservatism. This can be seen in Christian monarchies, before Left and Right came to exist. These are the unitive values above mere Left and Right, those of the Tsar’s Empire before 1917 and of New Rome before 1453. As part of the Church of God, both tried to incarnate the Kingdom of Christ on earth, with justice in society as well as personal, family, social and national moral responsibility.
