The Russian Nationalist and Imperialist Church or a Trinity of East Slav Orthodox Churches?

By this all men shall know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.

Jn. 13, 34

You ask why I commemorate Patriarch Aleksei of Moscow. You say, ‘He’s a Soviet!’ I tell you, ‘Inside Soviet Rus is Holy Rus! God has not abandoned our people’.

St John of Shanghai and Western Europe

Foreword: ‘Princes of the Church’

I was brought up in the old, persecuted Russian Orthodox Church of St John of Shanghai and Western Europe, who himself was persecuted, suspended and put on trial by nationalist and imperialist ROCOR bishops, who also wanted to defrock him. For forty-seven years I remained faithful to that Church, until it became abundantly clear, in early 2022 before operations in the Ukraine, that the once Persecuted Church, which we had so loved, had become the Persecuting Church.

Worse still, the persecutors were shown to be none other than ROCOR’s newly-appointed, untrained, half-baked bishops. Those who called themselves ‘princes of the Church’ were those who loved money, stole, lied, slandered and cheated. The old bishops who belonged to the Tsar and whom we so loved and respected, must be spinning in their graves. How did this happen? Below I recount the story.

The Ukraine Tragedy and the Future of the Russian Church

The armies of two brotherly peoples, both East Slav and both largely Orthodox Christian by history and culture, have been slaughtering one another for nearly five years in a war of attrition, just as in WWII. As a war of attrition, it will end just as suddenly. Two million have been killed or maimed, some 90% of them Ukrainians. Several thousand civilians have also been caught up in this since 2014 and died, mostly Russians (14,000 between 2014 and 2022 alone), let alone those killed in the NATO-armed Ukrainian invasion of Russia in 2024, run by NATO from Wiesbaden. And well over seven million Ukrainians have fled their country, heading, in almost equal numbers, east to Russia and west to Western Europe. They refused to be recruited by violence and needlessly die for the Globalists, who are being paid for Kiev’s NATO proxy Army to die.

Meanwhile, the majority of baptised Orthodox, whether practising or not, in both countries, as well as in Belarus and other countries in the jurisdiction of the Russian Orthodox Church, look on many bishops as bullying bandits, feudal mini-oligarchs (I quote Russian clergy and laity here), who, like the New ROCOR ones, are out to steal their churches. And that mentality feeds down to many priests, obliged to squeeze money out of their flocks for their bishops. Then the clericalist contagion spreads to them and they squeeze some out for themselves. The example comes from the top. Many freshly-baptised, post-Soviet clergy (and then by imitation ROCOR bishops) fell into the money-loving, ‘Wild East’ Capitalism of the 1990s and got stuck there. (There are also the sexual scandals with bishops, but that is another story).

How is all this possible? Only when the majority of ‘baptised Orthodox’ in both countries long ago renounced Christ and are only nominally Orthodox Christians, if Orthodox Christians at all. (As they say, ‘many are Orthodox, but few are Christians’). And only when a majority have patriots and not the politicians, who prefer hundreds of billions of dollars, euros and pounds and huge quantities of lethal Western arms to peace. In reality, most in both countries, baptised but never instructed (despite Christ’s commandment in Matt. 28.20), are pagans who have not accepted Christ, Who told us to love one another. And most want to dominate one another as imperialists, again contrary to Christ, Who told us to serve one another. How do this paganism and imperialism manifest themselves in the Church?

Paganism

The paganism of both peoples can be seen in their superstitiousness, the use of witchcraft and the evil eye, which have always been very widespread in all the Slav (as also in Catholic Southern European) lands. This comes from the underlying paganism, which has never been completely defeated by the Church, as is witnessed to by accounts both in the nineteenth century and in Soviet times, and which then revived enormously in the spiritual vacuum after the ideological collapse of the USSR, with a fascination for ‘extrasenses’, that is, for occultists, magicians, wizards and gurus and their weird, exploitative sects for the naïve and disoriented, who felt lost after the Soviet fall. This paganism is clear in the utter confusion between the spiritual and inward, that is primary, and the material and outward, that is secondary.

This can be seen, for example, in the aggressive preference for secondary Church rituals and customs of dress over kindness and tolerance for one another, in a belief in magic, ‘miracles’, ‘prophecies’ and ‘elders’, rather than in the effort to overcome our sinful, fallen nature. Again, the outward and bodily prevail over the inward and spiritual. And the spiritual is what is required in order to acquire Divine grace. For these pagans, everything is automatic, as in magic – which the devil can indeed provide, if people do not exercise their own will and sell themselves to his occultist magicians and witches. In the real world, nothing comes automatically, including the grace of eucharistic communion. And acquiring grace, as St Seraphim of Sarov said, is the aim of our lives, needs effort – the meaning of the word ‘ascetic’.

This superficiality was also manifest in the Russian Emigration, where One Church split into three warring, spiteful and hateful sectarian groups, not because of any difference in doctrines and beliefs, but because of politics. Love one another, said Christ, but the main practice of each group appeared to be, Hate one another. Similarly, as is well-known, many Russian churches, run by careerists who are devoid of pastoral activity and interest, appear to have a bigoted and ignorant woman or two at their entrance, who enjoy shouting at visitors and insulting them because they have committed some ritual error or are not dressed according to the taste of the insulters. Poorly-trained priests or laity who make others cry through their insults appear to be the anti-pastoral norm in certain churches, especially at confession and during sermons.

In turn, superstition, the almost fanatical attachment to mere outward rites, grew into a love for schism. It is deeply significant that the main, State-enforced schism in Russian Church history is called ‘Old Ritualism’. There was never any difference in doctrine between the Old Ritualists and the majority, who may be called ‘New Ritualists’, all was about ritual differences, all about the arrangement of the fingers in making the sign of the cross. Superstition bred obscurantism, the spiritual disease of pharisaically and joyfully condemning and denouncing others, and the obsession with finding and identifying ‘heresies’ and ‘schisms’, words hatefully and lovingly bandied about in Russian as the ultimate insult. In the land of record numbers of abortions and divorce, all agree on the Creed, but as for someone who differs in ritual…

Here is the origin of the cult of holy water among some Russian Orthodox. Clearly, this relates back to Slavic paganism. Now there is a great need for holy water, to be baptised in it, to drink it and to sprinkle it, but the concept that a child will be magically protected from colds by it, or that you can virtually trample on other people in church in order to get some at the Feast of Theophany or at water-blessing services of intercession after the Liturgy, having ignored confession and communion, is not Christian. And the concept that the use of holy water will magically heal or transform everything is pagan. I remember being asked if I could bless a Russian brothel. I refused. Again, others have been asked to bless the palaces and limousines of Slav oligarchs, who obtained their money over the dead bodies of others. I would refuse.

It has often been said that if the Russian Revolution took place, it was because of the virtual clerical prohibition before it to take communion more than once a year, a practice long conserved by ROCOR, as I only too well remember. In other words, church practice had become a ritual of private services, memorials or intercessions, rather than the common act of taking communion and so becoming a community. The secondary and outward had taken over from the primary and inward. Most Russian town churches today appear to be railway stations, people coming and going, staying for a few minutes to light a candle, or coming only after communion for some private service they have ordered. There are in fact very few parishes in Russia, in the correct sense of communities. Indeed, they are almost unknown.

Imperialism

Like Rome and then Constantinople (the ‘Second Rome’), Russia became an Empire and so was in its turn called the ‘Third Rome’. In other words, all three of these important historical Christian centres were tainted by one and the same Imperialism. The worst case was Rome, which actually developed a systematic, theologically justified and institutionalised structure of centralised power, called Papism, which actually changed the Creed, in order to vindicate its desire to control the whole world. According to this, a mere human-being, the Pope of Rome is the Vicar (Replacement) of Christ, the Head of the Church, the Holy Spirit proceeds from Him, and he is therefore infallible. All this is logical, if you accept a human-being as the replacement for Christ. But that leads to humanist idolatry, as the God-man is replaced by a mere man.

However, if you think that this article is some anti-Roman Catholic polemic, you are mistaken. The Second and Third Romes have exactly the same Imperialism as the First Rome, even if they have not (yet) justified it theologically. Thus, there are virulent Greek nationalists who will tell you in all seriousness (!) that nobody can be Orthodox, if they are not in communion with their favourite Turkish citizen, their Greek ethnarch (‘the first without equals’, as some heretically call him), the Patriarch of Constantinople (by the way, that has not existed for 573 years, it is called Istanbul). However, there are Russian imperialists/nationalists who will tell you that anyone who does not commemorate the Russian ethnarch, the Patriarch of Moscow (his present title), in services is a schismatic. (That favourite Russian word again!)

The Greek case is very strange, since many Patriarchs of Constantinople were heretics, especially in the first ten centuries, until the fall of the City in 1453, though more recently too. So we have to be in communion with a heretic in order to be an Orthodox Christian?! What about being in communion with Christ? As for the equally strange Russian case, it is a result of superstition and in turn of nationalist ignorance. The average baptised Russian Orthodox has no idea that there are 16 Orthodox Churches and that only one of them, the Russian, commemorates its Patriarch or main bishop in the litanies in services. What about commemorating Christ? Does this mean then that the Russian Orthodox Church is the only true Church, as the Old Ritualists claim, and all others are schismatics? (That favourite Russian word again!)

Moreover, the Russian Church had itself to grant independence (autocephaly) to three of the 15 other Local Churches, the Polish, the Czechoslovak and the American – and therefore they do not commemorate the Russian Patriarch. And parts of the Russian Church outside the Russian Federation do not commemorate the Patriarch (as in France), or are not allowed to do so, by law, (as in the Ukraine and Latvia). Indeed, the Russian Patriarch is banned from even visiting such countries. The imperialist ignorance of many Russian Orthodox that there is a much older Orthodox world that exists outside Russia is astounding. Yes, diversity exists. The Church is like a bouquet of 16 flowers, all flowers, but all different. Accept the real Church, instead of living in a narrow nationalist ghetto, ignorant of history and reality.

Here we come to the essence of the ecclesial problem of both Greeks and Russians. Both have reduced the Church to a Greek or Russian Imperialist/Nationalist Church, they have put Caesar above Christ. This explains in the Russian case the aggressiveness, ignorance and even hatred towards Non-Russians, as displayed by Russians who were adults before the Revolution (I knew plenty of them), let alone by those after the process of Sovietisation. That Imperialisation of the local mentality has led to aggressive militarism, as can be seen in the recently-built Military Cathedral near Moscow, as can be seen in the behaviour of preachers such as Fr Andrey Tkachov, who appear to think, like other anti-pastors, Russian bishops and priests, that insulting Orthodox people is normal. How many women did you make cry today?

Some Russians were hated even before the Revolution, most notably in Poland, the Ukraine, Georgia and the Baltics, wherever people had been oppressed by centralised Russian nationalism and militarism. Nothing that happened after 1917 did anything to change that – indeed, Sovietisation made it all much worse. ‘We have the right to do anything we want, and local people must use our language in order to live’, they said, talking exactly like brash American Imperialists from ROCOR. Here is why the Estonian Kaja Kallas, the Pole Donald Tusk, the Moldovan Maya Sandu, the Ukrainian Yuliya Timoshenko and many a Georgian, came to hate Russians. And they found plenty of hypocritical and equally Imperialist Westerners, very jealous of Russia and greedy to steal its resources, to fund them for purely selfish reasons.

Towards the Restoration of Orthodoxy in the East Slav Lands

As the end of the Ukrainian tragedy and the Ukraine in its Soviet form draws near and it is carved up between the different countries, from which parts of it were taken, what is the future for the ‘Moscow Patriarchate’? For this is still the Soviet-invented name for the Russian Orthodox Church. Clearly, both names are incorrect in the sense that a Patriarchate in Moscow and a Russian Orthodox Church can only be relevant to the territory of the Russian Federation. Therefore, it has to stop imperialistically clinging on to territories outside the Russian Federation. Let the Baltics, Moldova, Belarus and the future Ukraine, whatever its actual national borders and future name (Kievska Rus?) will be, have their independence, just as the Orthodox in Georgia, Poland, Czechoslovakia and America had theirs generations before them.

Many Russians, and not only Russians, speak of Russia, Belarus and the Ukraine as a trinity. Indeed, they are, as all are East Slav nations, all speak similar, if not the same, languages, all are Orthodox by culture and history, all are closely related, with intermarriage normal. Now, the Holy Trinity is the model of Unity in Diversity, three Separate Persons in One ‘Undivided and Consubstantial Trinity’ in Church language. Is it not time for the three peoples and countries to have their own independent Churches, a trinity of Churches of Unity in Diversity, as is our model? Let each of them co-exist as friends, not as enemies, loving one another and intermarrying with one another, and not hating and warring against one another. Then we will see that they are really, and not merely nominally, Orthodox Christians.

For the moment, our hope is that all will start referring to the common spiritual heritage of the Russian Orthodox Church, that is, to the saints of all, perhaps especially to the New Martyrs and Confessors. The problem is that at present many only pay lip-service to the latter. The lives of the tens of thousands of those canonised so far are virtually unknown. Significantly, the baptised Orthodox masses still often prefer Stalin to his victims. The reason for this is that in their heads they belong to the Russian Nationalist and Imperialist Church, not to the Russian Orthodox Church. And this concerns not only many people, but also many clergy. The sad fact is that there has not yet been repentance for the past. And that is why they are still killing one another, idolising Lenin and Stalin, and massively aborting, divorcing and swearing.

Afterword: The King is Coming

Those who find this story sad or are scandalised by these truths should take consolation, recalling that the 16 Local Orthodox Churches number nearly 200 million. We, the masses of honest clergy and people, have suffered from or been misled by just a few thousand, who have like bandits seized and cling onto power and riches and war. Now when, as the proverb says, the fish rots from the head, then the head will be replaced by those rejected and placed at the bottom. Those despised, neglected, abandoned and hated at the bottom will replace the head. For when the King comes, and He is coming, the ‘princes of the Church’ will be swept away like so much chaff. This is not our doing, it is the doing of the Lord and it is marvellous in our eyes, for the stone that the builders rejected will become the head of the corner.

In the words of the Tsar’s Archbishop, St John of Shanghai and Western Europe, on the 950th Anniversary of the Baptism of Rus:

The reality of Holy Rus is not a delusion or a phantom, but true. The prayer of the saints does not cease to rise up to heaven, those who shone forth in the Russian Lands pray for them now at the throne of God. But not only in heaven, but also here, on our sinful earth Holy Rus continues to exist. The power of those who fight against God has enslaved, but not destroyed Her. The Council of the ungodly who have dominion over the Russian people is alien to them, for it has nothing in common with the essence of Russia.

Europe and the Ukraine: Away From Union and Towards Federation?

The Return to Normality through the Renewal of Multipolarity

The post-1945 Western/Globalist Order is over. It is dying at its own hands, by suicide, having voluntarily cut itself off from cheap Russian energy. True, Western Europeans still cling on to their imperial and colonial illusions and the relics of that Order, like NATO and the EU. However, in the USA, on which that Order depended, they have been realising that it is over. Thus, on 1 February 2025 the U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio finally admitted this shift in the global power structure, stating that the unipolar (=US-controlled) moment was an anomaly and that the international community is returning to its multipolar framework. That multipolar world has been ushered in by the BRICS Organisation, founded by Russia in Ekaterinburg on the 90th anniversary of the martyrdom of Tsar Nicholas who foresaw it, but it is ignored by Western Europeans who are stuck in the past. This means that the USA is now again just one of the Great Powers in the world, having been pulled down by its hubris that caused it to overreach and go bankrupt amid a string of political, military and economic defeats. Those defeats have finally helped it realise the new reality.

Bodybags of UK and US Corpses from the Ukraine at Lakenheath

I live under the flight path which runs between the very important US base at RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk, England, and Borispil, the main airport in Kiev. Flights overhead were very frequent in the second half of 2021. In October 2021 I saw why, when I visited Kiev again. I well remember seeing with surprise the massive numbers of NATO armoured vehicles and arms quite openly being unloaded and stored at Borispil in preparation for some new Kiev invasion of the Eastern Ukraine. These huge stores were among the very first to be destroyed by Russian missiles on 24 February 2022. Since then, flights from Lakenheath have varied in numbers according to the needs of NATO campaigning in its proxy war in the Ukraine, where the war is directed from the major US bases in Germany, in Wiesbaden and Rammstein. Last week a large US transport plane flew into Lakenheath from Kiev. According to someone I know well who works at the base, it was full of corpses of US and UK troops. These included those who had died after the Russian raid on Kharkov and their Special Forces raid on Ochakiv near Nikolaev, where three British operatives, officers and MI6, were captured.

Alaska Means Europe is Isolated

The bodybags in Lakenheath came against the background of the carefully-prepared meeting in Anchorage, Alaska last week. Russia only agreed to this, as Trump had promised to meet all the Russian conditions. We were reminded that, given Europe’s political, economic and military hostility to Russia, the latter no longer looks to Europe, but to Asia. As for the USA, given Europe’s political, economic and military irrelevance in today’s world, it too no longer looks to Europe, but towards Asia. We are reminded that even physically the USA and Russia are separated by only three miles, not by the Atlantic Ocean like Europe. Now it is Russia and the US versus old-fashioned Cold War Europe and the authoritarian puppet regime in Kiev. The old Unionist and aggressive Neo-Nazi Europe (the EU and UK elite) is isolated, only the inevitable and perhaps imminent fall of the already highly unpopular elites there can bring Europe back into the mainstream of the world. For the new USA and the new Russia are both set on finding a permanent peace that ends the proxy war, already lost by the West as Trump at least has realised, on the battlefield of the Ukraine.

Europe’s Shameful Decadence: The Fruit of Globalism and Liberalism

The Western European conglomerate (EU/UK/Kiev) is not only morally irresponsible (Globalism) but also morally decadent (Liberalism), like the ancient pagan Roman Empire. The leaders of ‘the Big Four’ (Germany/ UK/France/Kiev) are all said to be cocaine addicts. One of them certainly is, since the son of the former US President was one and supplied it in the Ukraine, where he lived. (He is also said to have done much worse than cocaine, but his laptop ‘disappeared’). Another is a senior agent for the US Blackrock financial company, which illegally owns much of the old Ukraine (and Germany). Another, a Rothschild banker, is said to be married to a man, who in any case is 24 years older than himself and whose relationship began when the future President was aged fourteen. And the final one, a ‘democrat’ who loves censorship and repression, is said to use Ukrainian male prostitutes and is in love with the Ukrainian dictator. The latter has been illegitimate since May 2024 and has banned the Church and all political opposition and opposition media. He was elected only because he promised to make peace, but instead made a disastrous war and ruined his country.

Europe Has No Cards To Play

It was clear that the USA had begged victorious Russia for the meeting in Alaska and that the Russian President only agreed to it because the US had at last understood Russia’s position and that the continuing war is now entirely the fault of the Kiev regime and its warmongering EU/UK backers. All the Western fantasies about a ceasefire, a frozen conflict, NATO ‘security guarantees’ and sanctions against Russia and its partners have disappeared. As the European vassals and warmongers, fawning on Daddy Trump’s ego, waited like schoolchildren in the corridor in the White House, Trump was teaching Zelensky a lesson about reality and giving him an exit strategy. All the talk that Russia is losing the war and has suffered huge losses is now known by the USA to be a mere ‘narrative’. If the bankrupt Europeans want to buy non-existent US arms with their non-existent money, they can still fantasise about that. The end of the war is in sight. There will be a new Ukraine, a much smaller one, with a democratic, federalised government and a free Church, and not ones imposed by the CIA and MI6. Europe’s problem is it wants peace, but refuses to negotiate.

Karma for Europe’s Double Standards

By psychological transfer the elite of Western European, founded on a millennium of genocide, accused Russia of ‘a full-scale, unprovoked’ invasion of the Ukraine. The Russian support for the liberation of eastern and southern Ukrainians from Kiev Fascism was small-scale and fully-provoked. Large-scale and unprovoked invasions, of Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere, were, however, carried out, but by the West. The Western elite always uses Orwellspeak, using the opposites to describe others, thus, patriots are called traitors, traitors patriots, authoritarians are called democrats and democrats authoritarians, Fascist Ukrainians are called liberals, even men are called women and women men.  Today the only Soviet Union is the European Union: both were and are run by Western totalitarian ideology. All of this is happening against the background of the demographic crisis, which means, quite literally, that Europe is dying out: the young are mainly immigrants, for Western women have an average of only 0.8 to 1.5 children, the worst case being of course the Ukraine. This suicide is run by the elite, which encourages illegal immigration.

The European Elite Cannot Sell its Failure to its Electorates

The highly unstable and ever-changing European elite of politicians and journalists etc is extremely unpopular with its electorates. The people now vote for new, anti-Establishment parties (AfD, National Rally, Reform etc). None of the elite was elected by even 25% of its electorates, and they have painted themselves into an ever-shrinking corner. Last Saturday only five European leaders out of twenty-seven even signed an anti-Peace statement issued by the unelected EU – the coalition of the unwilling indeed. The senior European elite does not want peace, which is why it tries to prevent peace in Washington. Peace would mean that it has been wrong all along, as it was, and in part responsible for the deaths (or missing) of over 1.72 million Ukrainian soldiers and 120,000 ‘Russian’ (largely eastern Ukrainian) soldiers and civilians. And the elite is also responsible for the self-imposed economic crises in their countries, their crumbling infrastructure and mass poverty. That elite has refused time and again to even talk to Russia about peace. It wants war for its military contractors. Soon it will all be voted out by angry electorates and go into the dustbin of history.

The Evils of Dying Globalism

The Ukrainian battlefield was created by the movement of Unionism, the Globalist movement that reigns supreme in the EU and the UK, and reigned supreme in the USA until the end of last year, when ordinary Americans rejected it in their free election – that which is forbidden in Europe and the Ukraine. Although Trump is himself torn by what to do, he must act – the US faces bankruptcy. Peace could have come in the Ukraine at the outset, but it was forbidden by the EU/UK elite and the dark forces in the USA, who are now more and more excluded from positions of power. The US (Kerry) and Russia had agreed to peace and federalisation even in 2014, but the EU opposed it. Globalism and EU expansion to the Ukraine are the Unionist movements that caused the conflict. Western racism and moral bankruptcy are expressed in the words that the West intends to kill all to the last Ukrainian. The future is the federalised and decentralised BRICS world. This is the future for the New Ukraine, which will soon emerge in its new borders. For now, the EU/UK elite still clings on to past imperial power, failing to catch up with Russia and the USA.

Politicians Inside and Outside the Church Oppose the Catholicity of the Church

This conflict between Unionism and Federalism reflects the constant human rejection of the Divine Model of the Holy Trinity, of Unity in Diversity. That Model has always been rejected throughout history by one human extreme or another, by the forces that centralise and so create national injustices and resentments among minorities, and the forces that divide and so cause warring and sectarian factionalism and xenophobia. In this matter the Russian State is at last far in advance of the administration of the Russian Church. The Russian State founded the multipolar BRICS organisation, whereas the Russian Church has remained, like the Greek Church of Constantinople before it, stuck in its centralising, imperialist, one size fits all, past. In the case of the Russian Church, that centralising past is in Sovietism, in the case of Constantinople that centralising power is the old, and new, Cold War of the CIA, which has controlled it, ever since Patriarch Maximos V was deposed in 1948. All the living forces of the Church await the transfiguring breath of the Holy Spirit, Who will bring back the spirit of Catholicity – unity in diversity and long-awaited decentralisation.

The Message of Ekaterinburg

‘The circus has left town, but the clowns have stayed on.’

Old Saying

Foreword: The Present

In English one who causes chaos may be called ‘a bull in a china shop’. Without wishing to pun, the current US President may be described as ‘a bull in the China shop’. His bullying, threats and then retaliation are like those of a spoiled child, who throws his toys out of his pram in a tantrum when he is contradicted. However, apart from tariff terrorism, he also threatens threefold military war – against Iran and Yemen, China in the ‘Chinese Ukraine’ of Taiwan, and Russia in the Ukraine. Some call his policies suicidal, some doubt his sanity, though these are his equally insane political enemies. US authority used to be based on three pillars: military, moral and economic might. Today, the first has been pushed over by Russian military superiority, the second by the US genocide in Gaza and the third by the economic might of China. Can the Temple still stand now?

If the ‘eccentric’ Mr Trump, whose slogan appears to be MMGA, ‘Make Me Great Again’, rules one part of the Collective West, what can be said of the other part, Western Europe? Here the sinister, pro-Nazi EU wants to raid the savings of EU citizens for a trillion euros for its forever war in the Ukraine, rigs elections in Germany and Moldova, bans the AfD, the most popular Party in Germany, imprisons the ‘far right’ (= Anti-Fascist) leader Le Pen in France, in Romania bans the priest’s son and future President, Calin Georgescu, so as to use the country as a base to invade Russia, just as Hitler used Romanians before, blackens Meloni in Italy and Orban in Hungary and tries to assassinate Fico in Slovakia. As for its ‘Big Three’ political leaders, Napoleon Macron, Blackrock Merz and Harmer Starmer, they seem to be squabbling for the crown of ‘Most Foolish in Europe’.

The Way Down: The End of the West

When I become Tsar, there will be no poor and unhappy people. I want everyone to be happy.

Tsarevich Alexei

Western hegemony is unsustainable, as we know from the huge accumulation of US deficit and debt, which are echoed in all Western European countries. The system has reached breaking point, it cannot go on any longer. This is why President Trump introduced tariffs, though they are not at all the solution and are instead threatening to collapse the US economy altogether, which is much smaller than the Chinese. The problem, after all, is caused by the US having lived far beyond its means for two generations and weaponising the dollar and its banking system against the rest of the world, policies enacted by US presidents for over five decades. Weaponising the dollar was a fatal error. At any moment, foreign investments in the dollar and US government bonds can be withdrawn, shattering the already weak US economy and causing a run on the dollar.

The Collective West, a mere 10% of the whole planet, has long lived off cheap Russian energy and cheap Chinese manufactures. It has now sanctioned Russia 30,000 times and the US has tariffed China by 145%. Both parts of the Western world now suffer suicidally from its own tariffs or sanctions – while 90%, the rest of the world, trades with one another normally, tariff and sanction free. As for Western Europe, it is ruled by degenerate colonial oligarchies, who live in a virtual reality, the delusion that makes them think that it is still the century before last. Its Empire is in reality determined by transnational banking corporations, whose anti-patriotic ideology is Globalism. To make matters worse, these Western European leaders have fallen out not just with European Russia and Asian China, but also with the new, post-2024 nationalist USA.

As a result, Western Europe, having squabbled with everyone, is now critically isolated. Although its leaders still maintain control of their captive populations through very tight censorship of their legacy media, intense surveillance and nightmare threats to the children of a bogeyman enemy, in effect, through Nazification and militarisation, there is ever greater polarisation between the rich 10% and the 90% of the rest within those Western European societies. Nevertheless, the decadent ruling elite, symbolised by a dying, divisive and perhaps even disbelieving Pope of Rome, is facing the growing possibility of a social uprising against its millennial control. The people laboured for 500 years under a feudal medieval con-trick, for 400 years under social control moralism and puritanism, and are now being zombified by their condescending elites.

As under Old Pagan Rome, so under New Pagan Rome, Western people labour under the rule of bread (consumerism) and circuses (the legacy media, ‘entertainment’ and ‘sport’). However, there is now a growing Sovereigntist wave of revolt, the revolt of the people, Populism against the Dystopian future offered by the Western Establishment, to the point where populations are starting to collapse. Fewer and fewer want to bring children into the Nazi world on offer. The Victory of Sovereigntism is the only solution if humanity is to survive in these countries. This Populism is already perceptible on the horizon in every part of the Western world, despite the imprisoning, slandering and persecuting of the leaders who oppose the Globalist ruling class. In some places, maybe first in violent France and Romania, this revolt may even turn violent.

The Way Forward: The Future

‘Today, we are fighting so that it would never occur to anyone that Russia, our people, our language, or our culture can be erased from history. Today, we need a consolidated society, and this consolidation can only be based on sovereignty, freedom, creation and justice. Our values are humanity, mercy and compassion’.

President V.V. Putin, 2022

The Way Forward is in a World Alliance of anti-colonial peoples, a People’s Globalisation, founded on fairness and compassion. This is already here, the decentralising but co-operating BRICS, which already has 56% of the world trade. Its popularity and unity have been hugely reinforced by the incompetence of Western leaders, not least the US leader. Dozens more countries are waiting to join it, perhaps soon European Hungary, Italy and Spain, as well as other victims of Western colonialism of the past and its alphabet soup of UN, EU, NATO etc. Founded in 2009 in Ekaterinburg, the City between Europe and Asia where the Tsar and His Family were martyred ninety-one years before, BRICS has as its premier members Russia, India and China, the largest countries which were sabotaged or suffered humiliation under Western colonial manipulators.

From the eighteenth century on, the whole Indian Subcontinent endured its humiliation at the hands of the exploitative British elite; from the nineteenth century on, China endured its ‘century of humiliation’ from the Western world, symbolised by the anti-imperialist ‘Boxer’ rebellion between 1899 and 1901; and from the twentieth century on, the peoples of Russia endured their humiliation, from which they at last freed themselves only in 2022. Each time the humiliations included huge massacres of their peoples at the hands of Westernised materialists, in India by luxury-corrupted rulers, in China by Mao, and in Russia by Lenin and Stalin. Thus, BRICS began as an Anti-Colonial League, but it looks to a future together, of sovereign, independent, but co-operating peoples.  This is not Corporate Globalisation, but the People’s Globalisation.

Now is the time of the humiliation of the Western world. The West has failed to prevent Russia from freeing the peoples of the Ukraine from the Western-installed Nazi regime in Kiev. That regime was the unnatural extension of default Western European Nazism to the Eastern half of Europe, which eighty years ago valiantly and self-sacrificingly defeated the old Western European Nazism, at the cost of 27 million lives. After the defeat of the West in its proxy Ukraine, the peoples of Western Europe have been left with only one choice – to overthrow their Fascist elite and join BRICS as individual, respectful and respected nations, especially now that the USA is walking away from the imperialist Project Ukraine of its previous dementia. Already in Eastern Europe 75% of the population supports Russia, in Central Europe 65% and even in Western Europe up to 40%.

Hubris and Humility

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest those who are sent to thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, and you would not!

Matt. 23, 37

The Marxists were installed with their materialist ideology by the Western Powers in Russia, after their useful idiots of aristocrats, generals and intellectuals had overthrown the old order and deposed the last Christian Emperor. It was after all from New York bankers that the order went out to murder the Tsar and His Family in Ekaterinburg in July 1918. The bankers feared only genuine Orthodox Christianity, the Orthodoxy of the Holy Spirit, of pastors and prophets, confessors and martyrs, not that of protocols and careerists, bureaucrats and politicians, who killed the prophets because the latter would not allow Jerusalem to be turned into Babylon. The bankers wanted to feudalise the peoples to enslaving finance. They tried to Sovietise the Russians and Americanise the Greeks, making both bow down to and worship pagan models.

Thus, the Russians were supposed to admire the Soviet-installed Patriarch Sergius and his followers, who like new Popes of Rome wanted to ‘save the Church’, by glorifying the atheist State and imprisoning the righteous in its Russian Vatican. And as for the Greeks, to their everlasting shame, they were bought out by the CIA-installed, American Patriarch Athenagoras through the power of the Almighty dollar, a model just as Western as a Russian Pope. It is time for Russians and Greeks alike to return to real Orthodoxy, to quit centralising bishop-politicians, who amass power and wealth and are wolves in shepherd’s clothing. It is time to return to the spiritual values of the New Martyrs and Confessors, to the pastors and fathers, who are shepherds in shepherd’s clothing and who denounce the wolves in their shepherd’s luxury camouflage.

The essence of the millennial barbarian Western ideology is Hubris. This is the fatal pride which believes that the Western world represents God on earth, arrogating to itself all that is Divine, giving itself the dogmatic right to lord it over the rest of the world, when in fact it is at best human, at worst devilish. From the Western Institutions of Papacy to Parliament and President, each Western European nation in turn went through this absolutist Nazi sickness that it is God on earth: the Papacy that preached bloody ‘crusades’, Spain that massacred in the Americas, France with its narcissistic Sun-King, Britain with its never-setting imperial sun that nevertheless set, Belgium with its massacres,  Germany with its racist Nazism, and the USA with its Global Empire. They all preached the same ideology that Might is Right, of their ‘rules-free international disorder’.

It is time to turn away from the Hubris of the Jerusalem that killed the prophets and stoned the envoys of God, silencing their voices for a while, and turn back to the Humility of old, which each people of Western Europe once had in the Lives and voices of its Saints, the followers of Christ. This means returning to Europe’s spiritual roots, to turn away from those who tried to conquer, exploit and oppress the rest of the world, justifying themselves like Bush by claiming that ‘God told them to do it’. These spiritual roots are those of the Old West, the Western Europe of the first millennium which followed the Light of the Son of God Incarnate in Asia. For the Saints what is Greatness? It is in His Victory over Death, not in power and riches. It is in the Civilisation of the Saints which is not the Civilisation of Death and Decay, but the Civilisation of Life and Resurrection.
